Hi! I’m Katie Crim a conductor, flutist, and arts enthusiast with a love for collaboration, curiosity, and compelling musical storytelling.
I recently earned my Master of Music in Instrumental Conducting from Oklahoma City University, where I had the privilege of working closely with an incredible team of mentors and artists. My conducting work has taken me from opera pits to symphony halls, with highlights including assistant roles at Chicago Summer Opera and Fellowships with the Oklahoma Chamber Symphony, Project 21, and workshops across the U.S. and Europe.
I’m also the creator and host of KC Curious, a podcast that explores the artistic journeys of performers, educators, and creatives. I started the show as a way to stay connected and inspired during the pandemic and it’s grown into a space for meaningful conversation and shared discovery.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple goal: to foster a spirit of collaboration and joy. I seek to bring out the best in each musician, creating an ensemble where artistry and individual expression flourish within a unified, dynamic whole. Whether I’m on the podium, in the studio, or behind the scenes, I believe in the power of music to connect us, and I’m always looking for new ways to explore that connection.
Thanks for stopping by. I’m so glad you're here.
